Autobiography

In my personal life, I have walked a deeply committed spiritual path for 35 years, as well as being a spiritual guide, performer and music producer. It is this depth of experience plus my joy in supporting others that pervades my work and music.

I have been gifted with many profound spiritual awakenings, as well as having had the darshan of such spiritual masters as Ananda Moi Ma, the God-intoxicated Saint written of in Paramahansa Yoganananda's "Autobiography of a Yogi". Visit Paramahansa Yogananda to find out more about this famous Hindu master. I also have had the dharshan of Kirpal Singh, Muktananda and Swami Satchitananda, another Hindu Master. My spiritual name, Nayana, was given to me by Baba Hari Dass in Santa Cruz in the early 70's. In the late 70's I began making pilgrimages to Mt. Shasta and studying the teaching of the Ascended Masters. Here I worked with a teacher named Pearl, as well as having many direct experiences on the mountain itself with masters and guides such as Jesus and Archangel Raphael.

In addition to performing at numerous New Age events including the world famous Weseak Festival in Northern California and Soul Journey events with Craig Russel, I had the honor of appearing on stage in Mt. Shasta with Chief Standing Elk from the Dakota Tribe at the recent Star Knowledge conference. Currently I am finishing up my fifth album, a collection of joyful original compositions entitled, "Angels & Earth Songs". I also teach - music and voice as well as sound and healing. I recently moved to Sebastopol, a wonderful town in Northern California.
